Tampa is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tampa follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Hank at his shop which is Boss Exhaust Muffler. I wasn't really sure how it was going to go for this is the first time dealing with Hank. I needed a muffler swap from my stock muffler to a Magnaflow performance Muffler. I hooked up with Hank at 9 when he opened, am going to tell ya don't judge the talent by apperance cause am sure there are some that won't even give Hank a try becuse of his location, for you BIG MISTAKE. No Hanks no salesman and no his shop isn't a fancy show room glitter, but his talent when it comes to wielding pipe and mufflers is unbeatable. Hank is the best of the best, top of his profession, and I will put him up against any shop in the state of Florida. Hank is not only the best when it comes to exhaust but also beyond fair when it comes to people and his prices. I was so amazed at what he charged me I had to give him extra so he could get lunch on me. When Hank told me what he would of charged me if I brought the muffler from him I would of never brought it and walked in with it cause his price was so fair I kick myself in the ass cause I lost out on the warrenty cause I walked in with it instead of buying it from him, bu

I called ahead about getting my exhaust repaired and let them know I was on my way. When I arrived, the person I had spoken with wasnβt there. His son came out, and I clarified that I was there to have my exhaust fixed. He then directed me to where the mechanic was located, which was away from the main shop area. I called back simply to confirm where I needed to go, and instead of getting clear directions, I was met with a rude and irritated attitude. I was told to just park, wait for him to get there, and let the car cool down. The way he spoke to me was unprofessional and completely unnecessary for someone who was just trying to find the correct location. Because of the poor communication and customer service, I decided to leave without having any work done. I canβt speak on the quality of the repairs, but based on my experience, customer service and professionalism were lacking.

I was told by multiple shops that it would cost me around $1,000 to have a high-flow cat welded onto my car π, which honestly sounded crazy to me. So I decided to call Boss Exhaust, and he ended up charging me only $250 and got the job done with no issues at all. His work was clean, and everything ran perfectly afterward. After driving it for a bit though, I realized my car was way louder than I expected lmfao (that partβs on meβI didnβt know it was going to be that clapped out). It sounded aggressive, but a little too much for daily driving. I went back, and he hooked me up with a resonator for cheap as well, which helped tone it down a lot without completely killing the sound. Overall, really solid experienceβgood pricing, quick service, and no problems. He was straightforward and easy to work with. Iβll definitely be going back to him for more work in the future.

Hank was awesome! I went over a curb and ripped the exhaust out of my SUV. I went to 2 shops before Boss Exhaust and was quoted thousands!!! No one would use my old parts, they wanted me to replace the entire system. Hank custom fabricated the piece that was damaged and used my perfectly good exhaust system for a fraction of the cost. Saved me thousands.
